  After a spell with the pre-Optic Nerve band The Bohemian Bedrocks, Elan Portnoy became the lead guitarist for The Fuzztones in their mid-80s heyday before moving on to The Headless Horsemen and other projects. The A-side of this new single, "Cellar Dweller", is a loud, fuzz-driven garage rocker with all kinds of Halloween sound effects swimming through the mix. Originally released by The Fuzztones in '92, this earlier version was recorded in 1984 and makes its seven-inch vinyl debut on Mofo-Bone Rekkidz (with an F and a Z), a subsidiary of Mojo-Bone Rekkids (with a J and an S). The B-side (credited to Elan Portnoy & His Inner Demons) is a searing version of the Davie Allan & The Arrows signature fuzz instro, "Blues' Theme"!
