  Pelham, NY's TRAITS may not have had many releases in their lifetime (just one novelty—but great!—45, and a lone track on a Battle Of The Bands LP), but thanks to the rediscovery of 60s garage in the late 70s/early 80s, those couple of tracks have since been comped a number of times and reached a much wider audience, elevating the value of their original records.
  
  "High On A Cloud" originally appeared in 1967 on Ren-Vell Records' "Battle Of The Bands Vol. 1" LP, and was a standout original amidst a sea of so-so covers. The group's spirited rendition of Rick Dey/Paul Revere & The Raiders' "Just Like Me" was originally recorded in July '67 for the "Ted Mack & The Original Amateur Hour" TV show; this new 45 represents its first official release!
